I dropped out of school in 2012. I was miserable studying mathematics and going through some personal issues. I returned to finish my last year of undergrad in fall 2014. I had an option to take Intro to Programming in C, which would fulfill a requirement for my math degree.
At the time, I didn’t know what computer science or programming was. I thought, why not give this a try? I’d do anything at that point to take one fewer math course. That course ended up changing my life. The professor was a visionary. He took his job as professor very seriously.
